Miralmonte Aged Red Wine

Grape varieties: 100% Tinta de Toro
Winemaking: Fermentation is traditionally carried out in stainless steel vats with 100% de-stemmed grape. Three times a day must is pumped over at a controlled temperature of 28-30 °C during 12-15 days. Subsequently, wine is run-off and left to settling before barrels are filled.
Barrel aging: De 8 a 12 meses con trasiegos cada 3 meses.
Bottling aging: Wine remains a minimum of 6 months aging in bottles before being marketed. They are kept lying down on metallic scantling in an isolated facility where temperature never exceeds 18 °C.
Barrel type: 95% roble americano 5% roble francés
Alcohol content: 13,5% - 14% Vol.

Aroma Complex, elegant bouquet featuring the aromas characteristic of ageing in good wood, along with resinous nuances and a fruity base.
Mouth Well-rounded, full-flavoured, complex and lively wine with great character. Featuring a long-lasting taste and perfectly blended tannins.
The wine´s ageing results in complex, subtle sensations at the back of the nose.
Serving temperature 16 °C – 18 °C
Recommended for Meat, roasts, matured cheeses.
